The Europe-wide Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2010-11 will promote accident-free safe maintenance.
The pan-European Healthy Workplaces Campaign is focusing in 2010 and 2011 on the issue of safe maintenance. Its aim is to raise awareness of the importance of maintenance in European workplaces, and of the risks if it is not carried out properly.
The Campaign is co-ordinated by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), and its partners in the 27 EU Member States and beyond. It supports a wide range of activities at both the European and national level that promote safe maintenance.
The official launch of the Campaign was on 28 April 2010, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. Many of its events are focused around the European Week for Safety and Health at Work, which takes place in calendar week 43 in October 2010 and 2011.
